Your personally identifiable information is only accessible to the owners and studio manager and is only used to process bookings and payments, and communicate with you about your account and classes. With your consent, we may send you promotional emails or newsletters about our services, special offers, or events. You may opt-out of marketing communications at any time. We will never sell or share your personal information with a third-party without your consent except as necessary for the provision of services (e.g., sharing information with instructors for class bookings).
 
We may disclose personal information when required by law or to protect our rights, property, or safety. Additionally, we may share aggregated, de-identifiable information about site visitor patterns with third parties for our lawful business purposes, including to analyse, build and improve your experience and promote our business, provided that we will not share such data in a manner that could identify you.

DATA PROTECTION
 
AB LAB Fitness Studio will protect your personal information strictly in accordance with the principles of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 2002 (as amended) (“the ECT Act”) as well as the Protection of Personal Information Act (2013) (“POPI”) (to the extent that the said legislation is in force in Jamaica). AB LAB Fitness Studio  is the “data controller” for purpose of the ECT Act as well as the “responsible person” for purposes of POPI.
 
We will store your encrypted personal information securely in the cloud and will store your personal information only for the purpose for which it was collected as well as a record of any third party to whom the personal information was disclosed, the reason for disclosure and the date of the disclosure, for the duration that your information is used and for a period of one (1) year thereafter as required by Section 51(5) and (7) of the ECT Act. After the one (1) year period as aforesaid, AB LAB Fitness Studio will delete or destroy (as applicable) all your personal information that is stored that has become obsolete.
 
You may request details of personal information that we hold about you in writing. To comply with our security procedures, you must show a valid Government ID to access the personal information that you request. GOVERNING LAW
 
The information contained in this Privacy Policy shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Jamaica and be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Jamaican courts.
